Meet Gabrielle
Hi, I’m Gabrielle, New Zealand registered dietitian and founder of Dinner Date. My passion for cooking started in my own kitchen, where experimenting with new recipes brought excitement and creativity to my life. Even with years of cooking experience, I often struggled with deciding what to eat for dinner every day. I realised I wasn’t alone - many people want to cook more at home but feel overwhelmed by the planning and preparation involved.
During my master’s degree, I researched the eating patterns of women and found that most weren’t meeting food group guidelines or specific nutrient recommendations. This inspired me to create Dinner Date, a simple, affordable way to help people eat well without the stress of figuring it all out alone.
