How does Dinner Date work?

Each week you'll receive 5 nutritionist-approved recipes and a stress-free shopping list. All you need to do is sign up to our weekly subscription and then wait until 3pm on Friday to receive the recipes. Then, cross off any items from the shopping list that you don't want or need, and pop to the supermarket to grab the rest.

Dinner Date promotes nourishing your wellbeing by offering recipes that are creative, nutritious, enjoyable and unique. We believe everyone deserves meals that energise their body and soul, fuelling physical and mental well-being. Our recipes are fun, easy, and encourage social connection.

Subscriptions & Pricing

How do I sign up?

Head to our 'subscribe' page, add the subscription option that you want to your cart and follow the prompts. (Make sure you let us send you emails by ticking the box!). Every Friday at 3pm you'll receive an email with a PDF of all 5 recipes, and a document with the shopping list so you can copy & paste it to make organising easier.

How much does a subscription cost?

Our recipe subscriptions cost $5 per week, $20 per month or $200 per year.

Can I cancel or pause my subscription?

When you subscribe, you can create an account and log in to manage your subscriptions. Use the same email that you bought the subscription under to create your account. Here, you can pause/cancel/edit your subscription. There are no contracts so you can cancel whenever. Please note: if you cancel before Friday 3pm, you won't receive that week's menu. Please ensure you wait until after the menu has been released if you want to receive your menu before you cancel.

Can I change between monthly & weekly payment options?

To change your payment option you will need to cancel your original subscription and re-subscribe with your chosen payment method. Please ensure you wait until after the menu has been released to make changes to your payment method, otherwise you will be charged both payment types.

When will I be charged?

You will be charged weekly, on the same day that you originally purchased your subscription. E.g. if you purchased the weekly payment subscription on a Tuesday, you will be automatically charged $5 every Tuesday. If you select the monthly payment option, you will be charged on the same date each month - e.g. if you join on the 2nd, your payment will automatically recur on the 2nd of each month.

Recipes & Cooking

What kind of meals do you offer?

We focus on dinner-centric meals with suggestions for lunch leftovers. Expect a variety of cuisines and foods, including classic favourites with a twist and adventurous dishes!

Can I customise my recipes for dietary preferences?

Absolutely! If you have allergies, you can remove that item from the ingredient list. Feel free to contact us to ask for a similar substitution. Our recipes aren't designed for specific dietary requirements but you have full freedom on what to include/exclude in your meals.

What is the serving size for your recipes?

Our recipes are designed to feed two people. If you want to feed four people, or have leftovers, you can simply double the ingredients in the recipe & shopping list.

What equipment will I need?

We recommend having the essential kitchen equipment such as a chopping board, knife, pan, oven, blender, and roasting dish. If a certain dish requires equipment that you don't have, feel free to reach out.

I'm a beginner cook, will the recipes be suitable for me?

Of course! Dinner Date's recipes are designed to be easy to follow and simple. We encourage home cooks from all walks of life to try us out and learn new techniques/cooking styles.
