Steak & garlic butter spaghetti

Ingredients
150g spaghetti
3 tbs canola oil
2 pieces of steak
1 tsp salt
2 tsp black pepper
15g butter
3 tsp crushed garlic
½ cup cream
50g grated parmesan cheese
1 cup arugula
50g shaved parmesan cheese
½ cup cherry tomatoes
½ tsp black pepper
2 tsp lemon juice
2 tsp olive oil
3 tbs canola oil
2 pieces of steak
1 tsp salt
2 tsp black pepper
15g butter
3 tsp crushed garlic
½ cup cream
50g grated parmesan cheese
1 cup arugula
50g shaved parmesan cheese
½ cup cherry tomatoes
½ tsp black pepper
2 tsp lemon juice
2 tsp olive oil
Directions
Salad: Lay 1 cup of arugula in a bowl and top with 50g shaved parmesan cheese, ½ cup of halved cherry tomatoes and ½ tsp black pepper. In a small bowl, mix 2 tsp lemon juice with 2 tsp olive oil and pour over the salad. Set aside.
Pasta: Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Cook 150g spaghetti according to the packet instructions.
Steak: Meanwhile, heat a large pan to high heat and add 3 tbs canola oil. Season steaks with 1 tsp salt & 1 tsp pepper. Once the pan is hot, add the steaks and cook for approximately 2-3 minutes per side, depending on thickness & desired done-ness. Remove and let the steaks rest.
Sauce: Grab a medium sized pan or pot and heat to a medium heat. Add 15g butter, 3 tsp crushed garlic, ½ cup cream, 50g grated parmesan cheese and 1 tsp black pepper. Mix well and bring to a gentle boil. Once the pasta has cooked, carefully remove the spaghetti and add to the sauce. Mix to coat all pieces in the sauce.
Plate: Slice the steak. Add the pasta to a bowl and top with steak. Serve with salad on the side. Enjoy!
